Winter Programs

The winter season is our competitive indoor season. While practices will continue to be held outdoors, athletes will have the opportunity to compete in multiple indoor meets throughout the Southeast. Participation in meets is highly encouraged but not required. All meet registration fees are included in the season cost for full program participants.

Training during the winter season becomes more event-specific, with an increased focus on technical development in the field events and hurdles, as well as race-specific preparation for runners. As the longest of our three seasons, winter provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to continue developing their skills, gain valuable competition experience, and build momentum heading into the spring track season.
